On 12/09/2009, Riflemen No.
6070289 Joychandra Singh of Maphou dam Post was fallen
down from the nearby hill lock and seriously injured on
his body and required immediate medical treatment. He
was evacuated in 1(one) BP 407 and 1(one) Gypsy from the
Maphou Dam Post about 10:10 p.m. The party was ambushed
about 10:30 p.m. at Laikoiching which about 4/5kms.from
the Maphou Dam. The team also retaliated to the
undergrounds. However, Rfn. No. 6070117 Khangembam Nanda
Singh, Rfn. No. 6070513 Thuisingpao Rongmei, , Rfn
No. 6070055 Khuraijam Beeky Singh and Rfn No. 6070150
Khuraijam Amuchou Singh were died on the spot after
retaliating to the undergrounds. Because of their
action, the underground elements suspected to be PLA
immediately leave the place. FIR No. 69(9), u/s
302/307/326/392/34, IPC, 25(1-C) A. Act. 20 UA(P. Act) 04
dated 12/09/2009 was registered under Lamlai P.S. |
