On 20/02/2006 at around 03:20 p.m.
when a team of Thoubal police commando under Inspector
N. Lokhon were deployed near Thoubal Bazar Thongkhong(Bridge)
for normal frisking duty, while some unidentified armed
persons closed in and opened fire from the close range.
Rifleman, Mongjam Raldayai Meitei succumbed to bullet
injuries on the head and chest areas. |
