On 04/11/2002, after the killing of
one Naik L. Muhindro Singh at Bn. Campus, the killer Rfn.
No. 0799010 K. Inaocha Singh ran into the nearby jungle
area sheltering into the thick foliage and started
firing towards the chasing party of 8th MR who were sent
out to nab him. Rfn. No. 7101 N. Mathew Tangkhul of the
chasing party was hit by one bullet of the killer Rfn.
who shot back from his hiding place and killed N. Mathew
Tangkhul at the spot. |
